时尚街拍网"It all started with a pair of earrings Poppy bought in St Tropez," explains Edgrado Osorio, founder and creative director of Aquazzura, the "It" shoe label ofthe moment.The elaborate drop earrings, one a gem-coveredsun and the other amoon,sparked the inspiration for the duo"s new collaboration, which goes on sale on December 10.
The British model and socialite has teamed up the Colombian cobbler behind the brandfor a nine-piece range that includes the designers signature lace-up flats embellished with moons and stars, as well as espadrilles and lace-up heels.
"Women like Poppy are global nomads; a girl that travels around the worldneeds something for every sort of occasion," he adds in this exclusive behind-the-scenes video of the pair working in Osorio"s studio.Poppy adds that every girlneeds a pair of boots, heels and flats (to dance the night away in, of course).
The friends have also been inspired by Delevingne"s memoriesof her Moroccan wedding last year.The 29-year-old officially married her husband in a central London ceremony on May 16, 2014, to which she wore Chanel couture, but followed it up with a second, weekend-long ceremony at Marrakech"s five-star La Mamounia hotel a few weeks later.To this celebration she wore a spectacular custom-made Pucci gown by Peter Dundas.The full-length, white Seventies-inspired gown included blouson sleeves and was peppered with pretty pastel-coloured flowers, and had a suitably bohemian vibe to go with the hippy-chic event.
The collection will be available onAquazurras own website and also atNet-a-Porter.com, and in select stores such as Colette and Saks Fifth Avenue from Thursday.
